I am one of the newer additions to the NDP team. I started the first of the year. I am extremely blessed to work with such dedicated people. With whom does this dedication lie? It is clear to me that in thought and deed the NDP team is committed to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My responsibilities keep me in close contact to Michael Calhoun and Ed Ahlmeyer. While my daily tasks are varied I enjoy coordinating the details Michael’s travel schedule and assisting Ed with Drive Thru History America.
About my heart for prayer…While prayer is one of the most beneficial aspects of my relationship with Christ, it seems to be the discipline I struggle with the most. One might assume that since I am on staff with NDP that I have an extraordinary experience with prayer but that is not the case. I encounter times of deep intimacy with Christ and times of lonely distance just like anyone one else. I have learned that the power is not in the one who prays but the One who hears. I trust that even when the distance feels great the Lord hears my prayers and so I just keep praying. I encourage you to do the same.
When you think of it, please pray about me finding a church home. I moved to Colorado Springs about a year ago and have been searching ever since. Until next time, I challenge you to spend some extra time in God’s presence. No praising, thanking, confessing, or asking. Just crawl right up into His lap and be with Him.

I can really appreciate about what you say about being in God's presence-crawling up into His lap. I am 64 years old and I still consider myself a little child when it comes to approaching my heavenly Father. He is so wise and wonderful. He has no grandchildren, we are all his children.
It's all about have a child like faith :)
